He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Brannen; his children, Julie (Joe) and Patrick; his granddaughters, Tara (Steve) and Casey (Matt); his great grandchildren, Joe, Maggie, Stanley and Sophie; and his siblings, Regina Catherine Adam (Brannen), James Lawrence Brannen, Jerry Brannen of Charles Howard Brannen, MD, John Michael Brannen, Edward David Brannen, Patrick Frances Brannen, Angela Eileen Yaeger (Brannen), Valori Ann O'Meara (Brannen), Terrance Kevin Brannen and Alexis Lorraine Rainey (Brannen) of Stephan Anthony Brannen, Mass. He is also survived by his siblings, their spouses and many nieces and, nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Pius X Church (6905 Blondo St, Omaha, NE 68104). A committal service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (7710 W Center Rd, Omaha, NE 68124).
