He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Brown and Mae T. Brown; his brothers, John "Jack" F. Brown and Walter J. Brown Jr.; his sister-in-law Leota "Lee" Brown; his nephews, James M. Brown and Walter "Wally" Brown; and his niece Beverly Brown.
He is survived by: his nephews, Robert Brown (Geri), William J. Brown (Ellen Reid) and Richard Brown (Peggy); his niece Alison Kelly; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Heather Chastain (Derrell), Sara Brown (Alex Wood), Michael Brown, Andy Brown (Lisa), Matthew Brown and Alex Brown (Skylar); Rylee, Reagan, Shaun, Lucy, Stella, Jack, Lucas and George.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Bernard Catholic Church (3601 N 65th St, Omaha, NE 68104). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the VFW Post 2503 (8904 Military Rd, Omaha, NE 68134).
