He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Pieper, Madge Bargenquast, Margie Klindt, Pam Gilbert, Jolene Wiesner, Darrold Martens (Joyce), Jerry Martens and Phillip Martens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Valley View Cemetery.
