He was predeceased by: his wife Jan; his parents, Waldo Wyatt Ramsey and Alice Christine O'Grady Ramsey; his siblings, Jim Ramsey (Mercedes), Charles Ramsey (Barb), Mary Reschke (Ralph) and John Ramsey; and his son-in-law Peter Trout.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Karen Ramsey (Jim); his daughters, Debbie Lehman (Jeff), Diane Ramsey and Denise Trout; his grandchildren, Megan, Ashley (Eric), John (Aly), Alexis, Zachary (Erin) and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Miles and Scottie. He is also survived by parents and grandparents, faithfully supporting their children and six grandchildren.
