We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 75, Yvonne Louise Duy of Omaha, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Yvonne had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Yvonne may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kliewer and Emma Kliewer; and her brother Jerry Kliewer. She is survived by: her husband Donald Duy; her son Nikolaus Duy; and her grandchildren, Sabrina and Logan Duy.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Augustana Lutheran Church (3647 Lafayette Ave, Omaha, NE 68131). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Any memorials made in Yvonne's honor will be directed by the family.
