He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Erwin and Ella Erwin (Wilkinson); his sister Betty Lou; his wife Barbara Hancock; his stepfather Woodrow Grim; and his close friend Leona Hershiser.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Hall of Omaha, NE, Steve Erwin (Penny) of Mesa, AZ, Jeff Erwin (Cathy) of Norfolk, NE, John Erwin (Robin) of Norfolk, NE and Stacie Schutte (John) of Allen, NE. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the athletic departments at St. Mary's High School and O'Neill Public High School.
