He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Werkmeister and Clara Werkmeister (Breding); his wife Laurel Foster; and his brothers, Marvin (Ginny) and Donald.
He is survived by: his sister Judy Bixby of Los Cruses; and his sister-in-law JuLee Werkmeister of Yankton, SD. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 5 nephews.
