He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hahlbeck and Helen Hahlbeck (Barr); his wife Diana; and his brother Leon Hahlbeck. He is survived by: his children, Darcy (Scott Poese), Doug (Carol Hahlbeck), Heath Hahlbeck (Stephanie Keetle) and Kelly Hahlbeck of O'Neill; his stepchildren, John of Nampa, ID, Vanessa Burril of Nampa, ID, Allen Burril of Nampa, ID and Dustin Barton of Nampa, ID; his grandchildren, Brandon Poese, Michael Poese, Brian Hahlbeck, Jason Hahlbeck, Alyssia Hahlbeck, Justin Hahlbeck, Ty Hahlbeck, Katie Hahlbeck and Joey Burril; his siblings, Jerry Hahlbeck, Butch (Kathy Hahlbeck), Cheri (Gary Joslyn), Kay Hahlbeck and Pat Hahlbeck; and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Castle (Michael) and Pam Kubik.
