She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvel Neal and Violet Neal (Porter); her brother Orvel Neal Jr.; her in-laws, Horace (Budd) and Patty Sholes; her niece Katy; her aunts, Mabel Green and June; and her uncle Art Urban.

She is survived by: her husband Glen Sholes of O'Neill; her sons, Ben Sholes (Cheleigh) of Atkinson, Brett Sholes Inman (Molly) and Budd Sholes (Maggie) of Pierce; her grandchildren, Sara Sholes, Paige Williams, Sawyer Williams (Valeria), Payton Williams, Ezra Sholes, Noah Sholes, Savannah Otto, Amara Zach (Parker), Spencer Otto, Josiah Sholes, Emily Sholes, Colby Sholes (Kiyan), Claire Sholes and Blaine Sholes; her great grandchildren, Judah Wheeler and Isabella Williams; her brother Oran Clyde Neal (Denise) of Fremont; and her siblings-in-law, Kelly Neal of Fremont, Kathy Grutsch (Bill) of Hartington and Arlie Sholes (Diane) of Omaha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
