She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Shoemaker and Cleta Shoemaker (McNichols); her husband Jerry Schaaf; her parents-in-law, Elmer and Kathryn Schaaf (Barnes); her brother Gene Shoemaker; her siblings-in-law, Maureen Donlin, O. J. Armatys, Jerry Kuhn and Bernard Schaaf; and her sibling's children, Margaret Pierce (Maggie), George, Jimmy Shoemaker and Jimmy Schaaf.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jim Shoemaker (Dianne) of O'Neill, NE, Mary Ellen Humpal (Ed) of Holmen, WI and Jerry Shoemaker of O'Neill, NE.; and also, Kathy (Rick Boyle) of Norfolk, NE, Gerald Schaaf Jr. of Omaha, NE, Gary Schaaf of Omaha, NE, Timothy Schaaf (Carolyn) of Johnson Lake, NE and Matthew Schaaf of Denver, CO. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
