She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Cole and Ethel Cole (Utley Harding); her husband Larry Schaffer; and her siblings, Zane Cole, George Cole (Marilyn), Robert Cole (Donna) and Jeannie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dewey Schaffer (Tricia) of North Platte, NE and Beth Chartier (Dennis) of Springfield, NE; her grandchildren, Emily Smith (Guy), Cole Schaffer (Sarah), Jacob Schaffer (Stephanie), Hayley Kobza (Clay) and Ann Chartier-Grisi (Frank); and her brother-in-law Mike Smith of Gordon, NE. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
