He was predeceased by: his parents, Garold Risor and Lela Risor (Rouse); his sister Jan Davis; his siblings-in-law, Roger Christiansen, Larry Davis, Darrell Brewster and Jean Christiansen; and his nephews, Jeff Armfield and Josh Christiansen.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Risor of O'Neill; his children, Mike Risor (Sandy) of Albion and Brenda Fahrenholz (Roger) of O'Neill; his grandchildren, Justin Risor (Beth), Billi Jo Risor (Jason Donschenski), Travis Holz (Nikki), Barry Holz, Tiffany Barnes (Ben) and Jordan Risor (Tatiana Taylor); and his sister Marilyn Brewster (Roger) of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, brother and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
