He is survived by: his wife Jan McGill of O'Neill; his children, Bernie McGill (Janelle) of Lincoln, Jessica Peters (Eric) of Omaha and Jaclyn Hansen (Doug) of Olathe, KS; his grandchildren, Ethan Peters, Janna Peters, Claire McGill, Arabelle Hansen and Haley Al-Kazahy (Munif); his great grandchildren, Tyler Lee, Elijah Al-Kazahy, Ezra Al-Kazahy and Elias Al-Kazahy; his sisters-in-law, Nancy McGill of Green Bay, WI, Kim McGill of Seward, Laurie Kohout of Seward and Leann Wulff of Crescent, IA; his nieces and nephews, Sarah Larson, Alana McGill, Matt McGill, Andrew McGill, Tim McGill and Ryan McGill; his little buddy Toby; and his pet Toby.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (129 N 7th St, O'Neill, NE 68763). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
