He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Boettcher and Hazel Boettcher (Richardson); his stepmother Lucille; and his parents-in-law, Max and Rosalie Warnke.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Jeff Boettcher (Jennifer) of Lincoln, Brent Boettcher (Janet) of Ord, Kimberly Stengel (Chad) of Wellfleet and Deann Venditte (Tony) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Maxwell Boettcher, Jackson Boettcher (Madeleine), Carson Boettcher, Barrett Boettcher, Samuel Boettcher, Jed Boettcher, Ellie Boettcher, Reagan Stengel, Karissa Stengel, Paytyn Stengel, Edisyn Venditte and Anthony Venditte; his siblings, Lawrence Boettcher (Judith) and Lynette Carlson; his stepsister Linda Vomacka; his siblings-in-law, Dick Warnke (Susie), Doug Sutton, Leonard Efta, Regina Schmitz (Dennis) and Deniece Warnke; Jax McCabe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
