He was predeceased by : his parents, Otto Holz and Anna Holz (Emgarten); his siblings, Norma (Lee Schweikert), Kenny Holz and Don Holz; and his parents-in-law, Cora and Elmer Bonness.

He is survived by : his wife Carol Ann Holz of O'Neill; his children, Mike (Marilyn Reiser Holz), Tim Holz and Lisa Wiess of O'Neill; his grandchildren, Travis Holz and Nikki Nathan; his children, Kassidee, Tate, Kensley, Wyatt of Concord, NE and Barry Holz; his grandchildren, Zeydan and Hazel Holz of Lincoln; his daughter Tiffany Holz Barnes (Ben); his grandchildren, Hunter, Gracelyn and Gibsyn of Lincoln; his child Aleigha Holz VanLaningham (Jackson) of Lincoln; his sister Suzie Holz Lester (Bob) of Linton, ND; and his siblings-in-law, Gladys Holz of Central City and Paul Bonness of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 7:00 AM at the Biglin's Mortuary (111 N 3rd St, O'Neill, NE 68763). Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Word of Life Christian Center (49206 Pearl St, O'Neill, NE 68763).
