Cherri Uber Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cherri Uber (Oshkosh, Nebraska), born in Leadwood, Missouri, who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wallace Ferguson and Loretta Ferguson; her sister Margaret Wegener; and her brother-in-law William Wegener. She is survived by : her former life partner Charles Uber; her husband Chuck of Oshkosh; her children, Denise Callihan (Robert), Sheila Colby, Angela Wade (Scott) and Greg Bruns (Linda); her brother Scott Ferguson (Linda); and her stepchildren, Kim Paxton (Shad), James Uber, Allison Uber and William Uber. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Cherri's name can be made to the Regional West Garden County Foundation designated to the hospital.

“Cherri, you weren’t supposed to leave without me. We knew so much about each other. Our mothers were best friends and we carried on the tradition. I will miss you so very much. My heart is just broken. No more pain my bestie. No more coughing and struggling to breathe. You are flying free and if my guess is correct you are going at mach speed. To the family. I am so sorry for your loss. There has never been and will never be another like her. My heart goes out to you. Gods peace. 💙”
