He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Krienert and Christina Krienert (Stieren); his wife Lucille Rose Krienert; his siblings, Marie Throener (Robert), Lauriana Krienert, Clara Throener (Charles), Helen Hetrick (Lawerence), Joseph Krienert (Wilma), Vincent Krienert (Clara) and Adolph Krienert (Maragaret); his parents-in-law, Edna Gubbels, Marie Gubbels, Herbert Gubbels, Rita Wageman, Loraine Korth, Nicholas Gubbels and Genevieve Korth; and his daughters-in-law, Becky Krienert and Vicky Krienert.

He is survived by : his children, Dennis Krienert (Sharon) of Hastings, Eugene Krienert (Kim) of Lincoln, Larry Krienert (Joan) of Waterloo, IA, Mark Krienert of Osmond, Gerald Krienert (Pamela) of Osmond, Marvin Krienert (Vicky) of Osmond, Jim Krienert (Patty) of Osmond, Alan Krienert (Kimberly) of Osmond, Connie Wostrel (Stanley) of Lincoln, Cheryl Sharp of Lincoln, Diane Kiichler (Steven) of Omaha and Mary Vinson (Clark) of Foster; his sister Lorretta Krienert; and his sister-in-law Theresa Brinks. He is also survived by 47 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
