He is survived by: his children, Josh Callahan (Sarah) of Omaha, Laurie Buhlke (Madison) of Grand Island, JD, Virginia and Shannon Bidwell (Mitchell) of Lexington, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Oliver Callahan, Stella Callahan, Eliana Callahan, Camilla Callahan, Braelyn Buhlke, Gabriella Callahan and Stetson Bidwell; his son Dexter; his siblings, Rhonda Smith of Grand Island, Sheila Grayer (Marlon) of Cleveland, Kelly Caras (Stan) of Lexington, Kristy Harty (Ron) of Oakville, Curtis Callahan of Hudson and Misty Timmens (Lyle) of Minatare, Nebraska; and his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Callahan and Randy Skovbo (Minnie).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home (106 W 8th St, Lexington, NE 68850). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Overton Christian Church (601 C St, Overton, NE 68863).
