He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Haag and Evelyn Haag (Nicholas); his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Jean Haag; and his son-in-law Mitch Earnest.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannette "Nettie" Haag of Palmer; his children, Jim, Pat Haag of Palmer, Carol Haag of Grand Island and Tammy Earnest of Palmer; his grandchildren, Meagan Walkowiak, Tyler Walkowiak, Collins, Sarah Haag, Kinser and Jordan Earnest; and his great grandchildren, Lilli, Landrie, Jaden, Ellie and Skylar.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Church of Christ (515 Stanwick Ave, Palmer, NE 68864). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
