With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Jensen of Papillion, Nebraska, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Axel Christian Jensen and Pearl Wise Dryden; his wife Dorthey Snyder; his daughter Cynthia Darlene; and his grandsons, Zachary Widick and Jason Jensen.

He is survived by : his children, Robin Widick (Milton), Paula Miller, Robert Jensen (Heather), Jerry Jensen, Axel "Casey" Jensen, Carl Jr. "CJ" Jensen, Frederick III Jensen (Kathy), Richard Jensen and Tracy Bell (Lynn); his grandchildren, Jennifer Widick "Micheal", Amy Meyer "Shawn", Eddie Widick "Heidi", Elizabeth Widick, Lisa Widick, Sami Jo VanHorn "Chris", Katie Sue Jensen, Jesse Jensen, Douglas Jensen "Jamie", Abigail Jensen Meador, Ryan Jensen, Zachary Jensen, Nicole Serkus Taylor "Erik", Eric Serkus and Scoty Niles; his sister Karen Hinkle (Dwight); his daughters, Venita Basel and Becky Jensen; and his close friend Walter Smith. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (3200 Military Ave, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
