He was predeceased by: his wife Emiko Atkinson. He is survived by: his children, William Atkinson and Patricia Atkinson; his grandson Sean Atkinson (Elizabeth); and his great grandchild Sean Atkinson II.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kahler-Dolce Mortuary (441 N Washington St, Papillion, NE 68046). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
