It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Lee Ayers of Papillion, Nebraska, who passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Laura may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Freeman and Evelyn Freeman; her sister Donna Childs; and her nephew Barry Childs. She is survived by: Craig Pike (William Clark) and Melissa Wendland (Bill Wendland). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
