Though Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Volz and Anna Volz (Winter); her son Philip Schram; and her brothers, Joseph and William Volz.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Buckner, Cheryl Guffey (Terry), Charles Schram (Teresa), John Schram (Carol) and Cathy Schram. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Saint Mary Magdalene Cemetery (5226 S 46th St, Omaha, NE 68117).
