It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary V. Donaldson of Papillion, Nebraska, who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mary leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Andersen and Mary Andersen (Enewold); her husband Dean O. Donaldson; and her brother Darwin Andersen (Mila). She is survived by: her children, Deanise Pollard (Rockey) of DeMotte, IN, Laura Romano (Paul) of Council Bluffs, Carolyn Waters (Larry Peterson) of Council Bluffs, Dave Donaldson (Susan) of McClelland, IA and Doug Donaldson (Cortney) of Papillion, NE; and her sister Rosalyn Kilton (Jim). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
