She is survived by: her children, Doug Schuessler of Bellevue and Paulette Schmidt of Ames, IA; her grandchildren, Mark Schmidt (Anna Johnson) of Ames, IA, Tim Schmidt of Ames, IA and Sara Pettis (Josh) of Papillion; her great grandchildren, Joshua Jr., Joseph, Samuel Pettis, Zachary and Theo Schmidt; her brother-in-law Norman Schuessler (Ruth); Philip "Flip" and Marylou McEvoy. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church, to Stephen Center, to the Alzheimer's Association, or to a charity of your choice.
