She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene VanWassenhove and Marilou VanWassenhove (Jenkins); her sister Bernie Johnson (VanWassenhove); and her nephew Sam VanWassenhove. She is survived by: her daughters, Jessica Hutcheson of Omaha, NE and Ashley Hutcheson of Council Bluffs, IA.; and her siblings, Barb Gerard (Jim), Mike VanWassenhove (Monica), Kathy Moon (Terry), Ted VanWassenhove (Nancy), Paul VanWassenhove, Peggy Costenson, Dan VanWassenhove, Rob VanWassenhove, Rick VanWassenhove (Ann), Phil VanWassenhove (Susie) and Chuck VanWassenhove. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Council Bluffs, IA.
