She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Spurgin (Caroline) of Ogallala, Jon Spurgin of Golden, Jacob Spurgin (Krista) of Golden, Colorado and Jocelyn Fattig (Lane) of Paxton; her grandchildren, Alexis, Kepler, Andromeda, Tycho Spurgin, Oliver and Jovee Fattig; her brother David Mazour of Westminster, Colorado; and her sister-in-law Jo Mazour of Lawrence, Nebraska. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Jan's memory for later designation.
