He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Steinmeyer and Annie Steinmeyer (Ahlers); his sister Lori Hankins; his brother-in-law Dennis Hankins; his parents-in-law, Marcella and Don Svendsen; his siblings-in-law, Deb Olson and Roger Servold; and his nephew Andrew Steinmeyer.

He is survived by: his wife Lyn Steinmeyer of Lyons; his children, Seth Steinmeyer (Cully) of Clarkson and Teagan Steinmeyer (Andy) of Omaha; his granddaughter Quinn Steinmeyer of Clarkson; and his brother Allen Steinmeyer (Kay) of Lyons. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and the employees and friends.
