He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kelle and Helena Kelle (Gerdes); his son Todd; his sister Angeline Kelle; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Marie Frerichs; and his sister-in-law Marlene Frerichs.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Kelle of Pickrell; his sons, Larry Kelle of Pickrell and Terry Kelle (Carmen) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Sarah Kelle of Omaha, Madison Kelle of Lincoln, Hannah Kelle of Peoria, IL, Alex McGee of Lincoln and Victoria McGee of Napa, CA; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Frerichs (Elaine) of Wymore, James Frerichs (Carol) of Virginia and Kenneth Frerichs of Holmesville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home (1116 N 19th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A prayer was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the Lutheran Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
