Kenneth Karl Stelling Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2026, at the age of 88, Kenneth Karl Stelling of Plainview, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Stelling and Erna Stelling; his in-laws, George and Hertha Wacker; his siblings, Lavonne, Duane Stelling (Violet) and Karen Schwager (Robert); his grandsons, Luke Williams and Trey Stelling; and his daughter-in-law Kim Stelling.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Wacker; his children, Dan Stelling (Melinda) of Pierce, Deb Duerst (Kip) of Norfolk, Denise Wragge (Mark) of Plainview, Dawn Williams (Scott) of Osmond and Dean Stelling (Melissa) of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Matt Stelling (Lacy), Mike Stelling (Cassie), Meleah Koehlmoos (Eric), Britney Compton (Brian), Derek Duerst (Kaitlyn), Dave Wragge (Abby), Nathan Wragge, Seth Williams (Jocelyn), Catie Deines (Colin), Micah Williams (Suzanna), McKenzie Kucera (Ben) and Tyson Stelling (Hailey); his siblings, Lee Stelling (Neoma) of Orchard and Saundra Biermann (Walter) of Wisner; and his in-laws, Emmy Gutz (Conrad) of Plainview and Dennis Wacker (Imogene) of Central City. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (102 N 6th St, Plainview, NE 68769). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
