She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Johnson and Esther Johnson (Hansen); her former husband Richard Huston; her husband Al Parmenter; her sister LaFern Rasmussen (Darold); her brothers-in-law, Dale Carpenter and Marvin Foster; and her sister Betty Cressman (Bob).
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Huston of Plainview, NE, Jodi Whitten (Bill) of Norfolk, NE and Beth Hansen (Wayne) of Sterling, NE.; her granddaughter Megan Schaaf (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Blake and Madelynn; her grandchild Katlinn Sullivan (Robert); her great grandchildren, McKenna and Keagan; her grandson Matthew Whitten (Britney); her great grandchildren, Amelia and Charlotte; her grandchildren, Kyle Hansen (Jessica), Easton and Amy Jensen (Steve); her great grandchildren, Henry and Hunter; her granddaughter Kari Gray (James); her great grandchildren, Georgia and Maggie; her sister Elaine Carpenter of Creighton, NE; her sister-in-law Wanda Post (Clint) of Plainview, NE.; and her stepchildren, Mike Parmenter (Valerie) of New Boston, NH and Leann Wiley of Omaha, NE.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (104 N 1st St, Plainview, NE 68769). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
She was involved in the Plainview Foundation, Highlights for Plainview Hospital 1992-2013, Plainview Manor Foundation, and Red Hat.
