He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lewis Kerns and Eva T. Kerns (Mayer); his wife Ella Mary Kerns; and his sister Joyce Sievers. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Gebhart (Bill) of La Vista, NE and Tallie VanWesten (Glenn) of Plattsmouth, NE; his grandchildren, Terry Kerns (Sandy) of Plattsmouth, NE, Marty VanWesten (Keisha), Ken Kerns (Nicolette), Alicia Wolles (Patrick), Amy Kotera (Mitch), Nick Gebhart and Chris Kerns (Colette); his great grandchildren, Gryffyn, Elle Marie, Hadley, Loretta, George, Wilhelmina, Charlie, Molly, Lillian, Crosby and Henrietta; and his brother-in-law Jerry Sievers of Bellevue, NE. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
