We are sad to announce that, on April 27, 2026, at the age of 90, Edgar Bredemeier in Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bredemeier and Myrtle Bredemeier (Siske); his son-in-law Jim Brown; his siblings, Arden, Alene Davis (Paul) and Elane Burkhalter (Don); his siblings-in-law, Joe Edwards (Paula), Margaret Arcus (Peter) and Julie Munford (Jeff); John Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Edwards; his children, Karen Brown of Parkville, Missouri, Sharon (David Meacham), Mike (Chris Bredemeier) and Linda (Tim Shanks); his grandchildren, Rachel Greathouse (Stephen), Elizabeth Dillman (Joseph), Logan, Conner Bredemeier, Jordan (Andrew Smith), Suzanna, Robert and Liam Shanks; his great grandchild Emerald Dillman; and his sisters-in-law, Jan Bredemeier of DuBois and Merrie Edwards of Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Prairie Union Cemetery, Stella Community Church, or Nebraska Masonic Home.
