He is survived by: his children, Robert Nickels of Lincoln, NE, John Nickels (Tina) of Plattsmouth, NE, Dustin Hoffner (Britnee) of Papillion, NE, Katie Nunn (Seth) of Omaha, NE and Jake Nickels (Brianna) of Augusta, GA.; his grandchildren, Hayden Nunn, Eli Nunn, Austin Nickels, Connor Nickels, Elizabeth Nickels, Emma Hoffner, Tristan Hoffner and Amelia Nickels; and his siblings, Bobie Touchstone (Bob) of Plattsmouth, NE, Buck Nickels (Jolene) of Plattsmouth, NE, Kim Swank (Bob) of Pine, AZ and Dawn Hatcher (Don) of Columbus, NE. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home (1408 8th Ave, Plattsmouth, NE 68048).
