With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alfred Bauer of Pleasanton, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his mother Minnie Dorothy Bauer (Lammers); his wife Frieda JoAnne Bauer (Cherry); his father Elmer John Bauer; and his brothers, Ervin Bauer (Ilene) and Bertis Lee Bauer.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Bauer (Karla) of Pleasanton, Ricky Bauer (Renee') of Elm Creek and Brenda Paitz (Brian) of Pleasanton; his grandchildren, Kristi Fisher (Shaun), Kelli Taubenheim (Tanner), Keri Bauer, Justine Bauer, Allison Hinrichs (Matthew), Whitney Bauer, Ashley Bauer, Madeline Schmidt (Zach), Brodrick Paitz and Cassidee Paitz; his great grandchildren, Kaydn Fisher, Lincoln Fisher, Brooks Fisher, Jace Taubenheim, Dayton Taubenheim, Kinley Taubenheim and Hazel Hinrichs; and his sisters, Dorothy Phillips (Kim) of Pleasanton and Marilyn Cyboron (David) of Boelus.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasanton Evangelical Free Church (806 Hackberry St, Pleasanton, NE 68866).
Memorials are suggested to the Homeward Trail Bible Camp.
