He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wempen and Delna Wempen Jr. (Lammers). He is survived by: his former wife Kristin Larson; his friends, Cody, Baily and Woody; his siblings, John Wempen of Minden, NE, LaFona Wempen (Robert Lammers) of Arapahoe, NE and Rex Wempen (Kylie Wilbur) of Minden, NE; his nieces and nephews, Justin Dallmann, Chelsey Dallmann, Katie McIntosh (Dillion), Sadie Shannon (Heath), Jacob Wempen, Melody Wempen and Ashley Wempen; and his great-niece Lily Dallmann. He is also survived by many other friends and family.
