He was predeceased by: his parents, John Freese and Adela Freese (Meyer); his wife Alida Brandt; and his siblings, Alvin, Bernard, Richard (Marilyn), Allen (Maxine), Robert, Pauline Miller (Harold), Hilda Stahly (Frank) and Betty Kindsvater (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Mark Freese (Marlys) of Lincoln, Bruce Freese (Sandy) of Beatrice, Neal Freese (Linda) of Plymouth and Julie Nelson (Mark) of Lincoln; his brother Gordon Freese (Maril) of Lincoln; and his sisters-in-law, Arlis Freese of Plymouth and CJ Freese of Fairbury. He is also survived by many other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
