He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Rasmussen and Flora Belle Rasmussen (Hanson); and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Rasmussen of Plymouth; his daughters, Mindy Croker (Chuck) of North Dakota, Marcie Davis of Iowa and Angie Meier (Paul) of Oregon; and his sister Shirley Konz (Larry) of Iowa. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
