With sadness, we share the passing of Bruce Hopkins (Ponca, Nebraska). Bruce, born on September 3, 1941, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia; his brothers, Barry and Glen Hopkins; his siblings-in-law, Fred Embree, Howard Horii and Laurie Embree; and his grandson Cole McClure.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his daughters, Andrea DeGroote, Heidi Hopkins, Heather Fields-Gaes (Keith) and Meghan McClure (Josh); his grandchildren, Taylor Robinson, Haley McClure, Jordan DeGroote, Nico Hopkins, Peyton DeGroote, Mackenzie McClure, Kaden McClure, Chloe McClure, Keegan McClure, Micah Fields and CJ Sigmund; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Evie, Luna, Cole, Scarlett and Wesley; his siblings, Howard (Candi) and Susie Axon (Harold); his siblings-in-law, Marc Embree (Jane Bunnell), Warren Embree (Anne), Karen Hopkins, Jackie Embree and Paula Horii; and his cousin Linda Hall Cody. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand -nephews.
