We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Pauline M. Gibbs of Ponca, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ruby; her husband Albert; her daughter Carrie; her sister Darlene; her brothers-in-law, Lee, Merle, Howard and Irwin Gibbs; and also, Casper, Maude Gibbs and Delores Sorenson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Clarice Boring (Gary) of Cody, WY, Sandy Nelson (Rick) of Sioux City, IA and Sheryl Persinger of Ponca; her grandchildren, Jake Nelson (Alexandra), Matt, Erin Dirks (Dan), Emily and Eli Persinger; her great grandchildren, Adi Cook (Dirks) and Josie Dirks; her brothers, Bill Sorenson and Lamont Swanson (Darlene); and her sisters-in-law, Vivian Gibbs and Glenda Kuhlmann (Dale). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church (421 W 2nd St, Ponca, NE 68770). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Lime Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorials be made to Salem Lutheran Church, PO Box 316, Ponca NE 68770.
