He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Goeden; his children, Bernard "Bud" Kneifl of Ponca, Vance Kneifl (Tracey) of Milford, Ryan Kneifl of Ponca, Jeremy Kneifl (Molly) of Ponca, Nebraska, Tammy Robinson Jr. (Kenneth) of Falls Church, Renee Kneifl of Ponca and Cindy Grossrode (Brandon) of Tilden, Nebraska; and his siblings, Rod Kneifl of Clarkson, Nebraska and Twila Jansen (Art) of Fordyce, Nebraska.
