Wayne Stapleton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Stapleton of Ponca, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Stapleton and Violet Stapleton (Sherman); his sister Dorothy Elaine Richardson (Jim); and his nieces, Katie Stapleton and Cheyenne Stapleton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ramona Carlton (Jerry) of Lake Havasu, AZ, Donald (Jeannie) of Onalaska, WI, Marilyn of Norfolk, NE, Bev McCue (Colin) of Sioux City, IA, Keith (DeAnne) of Norfolk, NE and Lori of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by 8 nephews, 2 nieces, 6 great nephews, 8 great nieces, many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ponca Community Center (123 W 3rd St, Ponca, NE 68770).
Memorials will be given to the Ponca Booster Club.
