She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Collier and Mary Collier (Bryan); her children, Thomas LaVern and Patricia Ann; her husband LaVern Jefferson Truby; and her sisters-in-law, Gail Wiener and Helen Breyfogle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Smith (Eddie) of Miles City, MT and Nancy Travnicek (Jim) of Randolph; and her daughter-in-law Laura Truby of Oregon City, OR. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (110 E Jackson St, Randolph, NE 68771). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to United Methodist Church in Randolph.
