He was predeceased by: his parents, George Guy Merrill and Mona Matilda (Baker); and his son Mickey Allen Merrill. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Merrill; and his children, Mindy Merrill of Washington, Marla Mohlman (Andrew) of Red Cloud, Mike Merrill (Kelly) of Kearney, Mitzi Messenger (Tim) of Clay Center and Merisa Mattley (Ben) of Hastings. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
