Denziel Tavenner Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Denziel Tavenner (Red Cloud, Nebraska). Denziel, born on July 4, 1940, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Tavenner and Mabel Tavenner; his son Jay Dee Tavenner; and his sisters, Hazel Buckles (Howard) and Betty Topham (Doyt).
He is survived by: his son Van Tavenner (Sherri) of Fordland, MO; his caregiver Jody Schriner of Cowles, NE; his grandchildren, Meagen Smythe (Jason), Tesa Farran (Kort) and Bronson Tavenner (McKenna); his great grandchildren, Tucker Smythe, Myla, Chet, Zane and Jovi Farran; and his niece Jeffie Wiggins. He is also survived by extended family; and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Red Cloud City Cemetery (218 Arch St, Red Cloud, NE 68970).
