Rick left this world on September 17, 2025 at the age of 64, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Minnick and Winifred Minnick (Kugler); his sister Joy; his brother-in-law Dick Chrisman; his brother Randy Minnick (Sharon Hedrick); his grandson Camdyn Trew; and his daughters, Lynnsy Devoll (Brandon) of Kearney, Nebraska, Alexandrea Trew (Jeremie) of Red Cloud, Tarissa Minnick of Red Cloud and Callie Minnick of Inavale.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Taigan, Caden, Jerex, Kaesyn and Huxstyn Trew; and his siblings, Robert Minnick, Gayla Disney, Sheila Minnick, Lisa Soflin (Bob), Isla Chrisman (Tom) and Ryan Minnick. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and his many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 8:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Revival Tabernacle Church (125 S Vine St, Red Cloud, NE 68970). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:50 AM at the Riverton Cemetery.
