He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Leroy and Hazel Marie Zalman (Miksch); and his brother Randall Zalman. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Long (Pat) of Red Cloud, NE and Tonja Woods (Guy Morrow) of Laramie, WY; his grandchildren, Dalton Long (Kara Christensen), Morgan Ware (Jeff), Alexis Woods and Quentin Woods; his great grandchildren, Braxtynn Shaw, Ryddyk Shaw and Rosalynn Shaw; and his nieces and nephews, Randa Zalman (Jim Svoboda) and Matthew Zalman (Aleia).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Williams & Kuehn Funeral Home (241 W 4th Ave, Red Cloud, NE 68970).
Memorials are designated to the Ronald Zalman Memorial Fund for the family to designate at a later time and may be sent in care of Williams & Kuehn Funeral Home, 241 West 4th Ave., Red Cloud, NE 68970.
