Sylvia Andersen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2020, at the age of 84, Sylvia Andersen (Red Cloud, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Audrey Williams (Kugler) and Ralph Williams; her husband Alfred Charles Andersen (Andy); her siblings, Norma June Peterson, Gayle Williams, Roma Timmons, JoAnne Nichelson and Arden Williams; and her stepsons, Alfred Charles, III (Fred) and Peter Monroe.

She is survived by : her significant other Kyla Christine (Watson); her daughters, Julia Leanne Mausolf (Steven Jones) of Torrance, California, Shelly Jo Mausolf (Jonny VanGieson) of New York City and Rebecca Sue Classic (John Classic) of Oceanside, California; her stepdaughter Abbe Leigh Andersen of Los Angeles, California; her stepdaughter-in-law Judy Mae Andersen of Yarnell, Arizona; her grandchildren, Joshua Jordan Eissler of Redondo Beach, CA, Eric Monroe Andersen of Prescott, Nathan Joseph Andersen of Chandler, Arizona, Misty Lea Andersen-Price of Hooper and Amber Tennile Andersen of Ogden, Utah; her siblings, Donn Williams of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Wanda Wear of Carthage, Illinois; and her sister-in-law Cherri Williams of Pueblo, Colorado. She is also survived by her siblings, nieces, and nephews.

She spent her retirement years working at the Willa Cather Foundation and supporting her church and community.
