With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carol J. Blas of Reynolds, Nebraska, whose life came to an end on September 22, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Dorman and Berna Dean Dorman (Cerveny) of Reynolds, NE.; her in-laws, Lawrence and Leta Blas (Schacht); her daughter Tamara (Tami) Sipek (Blas); her sister Shirley Zenger; her siblings-in-law, Karen Rippe and Roger Schmidt; and her great grandchild Rylen Schwartz.
She is survived by: her husband William Blas (Bill); her son Terry Blas (Leann); her sister Sharon Schmidt; her sister-in-law Ruth Schuster (Dennis); and her grandchildren, Brittany Blas, Kaylee Sipek, Harlie Blas, Trayce Blas, Casidy Sipek and Ryder Schwartz. She is also survived by great-granddaughter in February, and many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home (2414 H St, Fairbury, NE 68352). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Countryside Church (56205 713th Rd, Fairbury, NE 68352).
