He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest E. Steager and Sophie C. Steager; and his cousin Delmar Polacek. He is survived by: his wife Donna Lou of Rising City; his children, Dannie Steager (Sheri) of Surprise and Donnie Steager (Stacy) of Surprise; his grandchildren, Ty Steager (Katie) of Shelby, Taylor Steager of Surprise and Makenna Steager of Surprise; and his cousin Evelyn Polacek of Surprise.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and statues, memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Capital Campaign, Rising City Volunteer Fire Department or Butler County Ag Society Foundation.
